Altitude factors
All Magnum breakers, including IEC rated breakers, can
be applied at their full voltage and current ratings up to a
maximum altitude of 2000 meters above sea level . When
installed at higher altitudes, the ratings are subject to
correction factors . Short circuit current is not affected as long
as the voltage is rated in accordance with the information
shown in the table .

Test bus configuration
The bus bar size examples shown here are those specified by
ANSI, IEC 947-1 and/or used by Eaton in their breaker type testing .
They are for 3 meter long bus bar with the faces vertical and painted
flat black . For other bus bar configurations, larger bus bar sizes may be
required or the breaker may have to be de-rated . Refer to the tables
presented earlier in this section for de-rating information at higher
ambient temperatures
