3.4.3  Modification of a removable version of 

the assembly  

The work should be carried out in compliance with NEN 
3140 and NEN-EN50110 standards. 

3.4.3.1 

Exchanging a plug-in unit (removable 

outgoing units)  

Removing a plug-in unit for distribution  

• 

Switch off the unit concerned.  

• 

Open the door of the groups concerned in the cable 
compartment.  

• 

Check that the outgoing main power circuit is isolated.  

• 

Remove the outgoing cable connections and the 
shielding plate in the cable compartment. 

• 

Loosen the plug-in unit's captive fixing bolts.  

• 

Remove the plug-in unit.

With removed plug-in unit the distribution busbars 
are IP20 screened by an insulation plate.

Installing a plug-in unit for distribution  

• 

Ensure that the switch (switch-disconnector, MCCB) of 
the plug-in unit to be installed is in the OFF position.  

• 

Place the plug-in unit in the compartment and secure it 
with the fixing bolts.  

• 

Check that the outgoing main power circuit is isolated.  

• 

Connect the outgoing main power cables and mount 
the shielding plate in the cable compartment. 

• 

Close the door of the compartment concerned and the 
cable compartment door.
