12.
Turn the bypass switch to the LINE position. Measure the voltage
to the protected equipment (at the load distribution panel or the
UPS-protected receptacles for your equipment) and verify that it is
correct.
13.
Turn the bypass switch to the UPS position and verify the voltage to
the protected equipment is still correct.
14.
Turn the bypass switch back to the LINE position.
15.
500 VA–3.1 kVA:
Turn the UPS ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position.
4.3–18 kVA:
Use the FERRUPS key to turn the UPS ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position.
16.
If your UPS has a DC switch, turn off the switch according to the
UPS model:
500 VA–3.1 kVA:
If the external battery cabinet has a DC switch,
turn the switch to the OFF position.
4.3–7 kVA:
If you have an external battery cabinet(s) with a DC
switch, turn the switch to the OFF position.
If you do not have an external battery cabinet(s): unlock the UPS
front cover using the FERRUPS key and remove the front cover.
Locate the DC switch behind the front cover. Turn the DC switch to
the OFF position and reinstall the UPS front cover .
10–18 kVA:
If you have an external battery cabinet(s) with a DC
switch, turn the switch to the OFF position.
17.
Turn the AC disconnect switch to the OFF position.
18.
Reinstall the bypass switch and UPS front cover panels.
19.
If the UPS will not be operated immediately, leave the bypass
switch in the LINE position and turn on your protected equipment.
20.
The equipment will not be protected by the UPS until you start up
the UPS and turn the bypass switch to the UPS position. Refer to
the startup section in the
