Step 4 - Connect cables
1
Connect the live (negative) cables to the circuit breaker terminals.

Connect the common (positive) cables to the common bar.
Step 5 - Check terminations, secure cables and test insulation

Check all circuit breaker terminations are correct and tighten to 18.7 -
21.9Nm (166 - 194 inch-pounds).

Secure the cables with cable ties to ensure there will be no strain on the
terminals.
3
Test the insulation resistance of the cables.
Step 6 - Refit panels and circuit breaker cover
1
Refit the cabinet panels.
2
Refit the circuit breaker cover.
Fit blank covers over any unused circuit breaker positions.
Step 7 - Switch on circuit breaker(s) (if required)

Refer to the equipment manufacturer's instructions before applying dc
power to any equipment.

To apply dc power to the equipment, switch on the circuit breaker.
3
Close the hinged front cover.
Procedure complete
