process with the addition of an extra step as 

follows:

1.  Press the button once to access the range 

option, or twice for pulse count.

2.  Count the number of rapid flashes of the LED 

to confirm the current setting.

3.  Press the button immediately: once to apply 

setting 1, twice to apply setting 2 or three 

times to apply setting 3 (if applicable).

4.  Wait for a second or two until you 

see a double-flash. This signals end of 

programming mode.

To apply factory default settings

To restore settings to the defaults, remove the 

batteries, wait 10 seconds, then press and hold 

the button while you re-fit the batteries. When 

you see the LED flash rapidly, release the button.
