14 Bug Fix
14.1 General
Follow the steps below if any problems occur while the BreakerVisu system
is attempting to detect and recognize devices connected to it:
▶
Make sure that the Modbus RTU devices are using the same
communication parameters as those configured in the BreakerVisu
system.
▶
Configure the Modbus RTU addresses you want in such a way that there
will not be any address conflicts.
▶
Consult the hardware manual (MN048013EN) to make sure that you
have wired everything correctly as required for BreakerVisu.
▶
Use the data provided by the BreakerVisu system
(e.g., SmartWire-DT network status).
14.2 Configuring 3rd party devices
If any problems occur while attempting to set up 3rd party devices, please
check the following:
▶
Make sure to keep the size of the label so that it can be displayed
properly in the BreakerVisu system.
▶
Remove all comments from the XML configuration files in order to make
them smaller.
▶
Check whether required elements in the XML configuration file were
deleted by mistake.
▶
Check the XML configuration files‘ names and storage locations in the
BreakerVisu system.
