d) Installing the Remote Control
1. Put the two AAA batteries (LR03) into the remote’s battery compartment.
2. Press the remote’s
button to turn on the LCD screen.
3. Press the
button to go into clock programming mode.
4. The two numbers will be flashing. Use the
and
buttons on the remote to adjust the time.
5. Press the
button to confirm and move to adjusting the minutes. Use the
and
buttons to adjust
the minutes.
6. Press the
button to confirm and move to adjusting the day of the week. Use the
and
buttons to
adjust the number to the desired value (1 = Monday, 2 = Tuesday, 3 = Wednesday, 4 = Thursday, 5 = Friday, 6 =
Saturday, 7 = Sunday).
7. Press the
button to save the settings.
Warning:
the remote uses infrared technology. Do not point it at your eyes or someone else’s. To ensure infor-
mation is successfully transmitted, be sure to point the remote at the robot’s infrared receiver (1-Fig. 2) when
you press the button. Each time information is sent, the robot emits a beep to confirm it received that informa-
tion. If this does not occur, restart the procedure following the instructions in this manual.
e) Emptying the dust collection tray (Fig. 9)
1. Make sure the start/stop button (10-Fig. 2) is in the 0 position (stop).
2. Remove the robot’s cover (3-fig 2) by pulling up while holding the robot’s base.
3. Pull the dust collection container (12-Fig. 2) up.
4. Remove the dust collection container’s cover (grey part), while keeping container level so dust does not spill
onto the floor.
5. Empty the dust collection container into a dustbin. If necessary, you can rinse the container with water. Be
sure to dry it thoroughly with a dry cloth.
6. Remove the HEPA filter and clean it with a soft brush.
7. Put the HEPA filter and dust collection container lid back in place.
8. Put the dust collection container back into the robot, ensuring it is pushed fully into position.
9. Put the robot’s cover (3-Fig. 2) back on.
Tip:
Empty the dust collection container at least once a month so your robot can continue to operate properly.
Regularly replace the HEPA filter with a new one for better vacuuming.
Warning:
Do not use hard brushes to clean the HEPA filter. Be sure all elements are completely dry before the
next use.
f) Replacing Used Side Brushes (Fig. 10)
1. Make sure the start/stop button (10-Fig. 2) is in the 0 position (stop).
2. Unscrew the screw holding the brush.
3. Remove and replace with a new side brush.
4. Retighten the screw holding the brush.
g) Disassembling the Rechargeable Battery (Fig. 11)
1. Make sure the start/stop button (10-Fig. 2) is in the 0 position (stop) and that the power supply is unplugged
from the robot.
2. Remove the robot’s cover (3-fig 2) by pulling up while holding the robot’s base.
3. Unclip the rechargeable battery hatch (13-Fig. 2).
4. Unclip the battery connector while being careful not to damage the electrical connections.
To insert the battery, follow this process in reverse.
