BELT ALIGNMENT

The running belt should be centred on the running deck at all times. If it appears to be running to one

side, minor adjustments need to be made to the screws that secure the REAR ROLLER (10). When

making these adjustments, use the ALLEN WRENCH. Please follow the procedures below to make

the adjustments.

BELT DRIFTING LEFT

Turn the left screw 1/4 turn CLOCKWISE and the right

screw 1/4 Turn COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, and then walk

on the treadmill. Repeat if needed.

BELT DRIFTING RIGHT

Turn the left screw turn 1/4 COUNTER-CLOCKWISE and

the right screw 1/4 turn CLOCKWISE, and then walk on

the treadmill. Repeat if needed.

BELT SLIPPING

If the RUNNING BELT (44) jerks when you walk on the treadmill

(it does not feel like the rollers are keeping up), turn both screw turn

CLOCKWISE, and then walk on the treadmill.

If the condition persists, repeat this procedure.

If you believe the RUNNING BELT (44) is centred, use the treadmill for at least three minutes to ensure

the RUNNING BELT (44) will not drift back.

NOTE: lf the belt continues to drift out of centre, the floor may be uneven. Rotate the treadmill 90

degrees, or move it to another location.

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN THE REAR ROLLER SCREW. Turn the screws only one quarter of a turn at

a time in order to avoid damaging the bearings in the rollers.

When looking at the bottom side of your treadmill, check the RUNNING BELT (44) to make sure the

bottom side is riding between the belt guides (see illustrations below).

NOTE: IF THE BELT DOES NOT MOVE SMOOTHLY, LIFT THE BELT, WIPE THE BOARD OFF WITH

A CLOTH AND THEN SPRAY WATER-BASE SILICONE ON THE BOARD UNDER THE BELT.
