PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

INSTALLATION

• Unpack all parts and remove protective material.

• Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other  

  connections have been made.

• Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimetres around the  

  unit for ventilation.

INSTALLATION OF COUNTER WEIGHT

1) Slide the counter weight completely into the rear of the tone arm until it reaches the end.Turn  it  

  clockwise until it engages with the screw mechanism.

2) Twist the counter weight clockwise & 

  backward until it reaches the white line 

  as per fig 2.

3) Holding the silver portion, twist the 

  counter mark dial until it reaches the 

  “1“ postition - fig 3.

4) Twist the counter weight anti-clockwise & inward until it reaches the appropriate working pressure.

NOTE:-

The working pressure of the provided stylus is in the range of 4 – 6 grams. According to the 

cartridge manufacturer, all styluses have their own working pressure and please refer to the 

specification for any replacement stylus.

CONNECTION

1) Connect the speaker wires to the speaker jacks (42) located on the rear side of the unit.

2) Connect the power cord (44) to an AC outlet.

LISTENING TO RADIO

MANUAL TUNING

1) Press the power button (7) to switch on the unit and slide the function switch (20) to the 

  “tuner” position.

2) Select FM or FM-Stereo using the FM/FM-ST switch (22).

3) Tune to the required station by turning the tuning knob (25).

4) Adjust volume button (15) to the desired volume level.

FM & FM-STEREO RECEPTION

1) When setting the FM/FM-Stereo switch (22) to the “FM” position, programs are received in  

  mono mode. In particular when stereo signals are weak it is preferable to recieve this program  

  in mono.

2) Setting the FM/FM-Stereo Switch (22) to the “FM-ST” position will receive programs in stereo.  

  The FM-Stereo LED indicator (4) will light up to show an FM stereo program is being recieved.

HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION

FM: 

The receiver has a built-in FM wire attena (43) hanging at the rear cabinet. This wire should 

be totally unravelled and extended for best reception.
