OPERATION:
Inspect the car heater is in good condition before use.
WARNING:
To prevent blowing a fusible link on the
power outlet,
only use with 12V auxiliary power outlet.
1. Place the power switch at its O (off) positions
2 The car heater can be gently
adjusted into different positions
by turning on the ball joint. If
position requires changing,
ensure heater is unplugged and
has cooled to avoid injury.
3. Note: This car heater can burn out cigarette lighter sockets if used incorrectly. Always switch the
engine on before inserting the 12V plug.
Put plug into a 12.5A rated 12V auxiliary power outlet ONLY.
4. Mount on dashboard or hold over windshield for spot defrosting. Use for up to 20 minutes, and
then shut off for at least 5 minutes.
Do not use directly on a frozen windscreen.
5. The car heater can be removed from the mounting base. By holding the handle, the car heater
can be moved around as needed.
To remove the heater from the base, place one hand on heater and one hand on base, sliding the
heater towards the side of heat vent. Do not pull as this may damage the heater. Ensure heater is
unplugged and has cooled to avoid injury. Open the handle by pulling the ring on the side of the
handle.
After use, push the handle back and place the heater back onto the base. Ensure the heater is
unplugged and has cooled to avoid injury.
6. To select either the
Fan
only or the
Heat
(heat and fan), press the power switch to the setting as
marked. Turn the power switch to the centre
O
(off) position to turn off these functions.
WARNING! Do not operate longer than 20 minutes at one time, allow heater to cool
completely after use.
7. Unplug the heater before leaving the vehicle.
MAINTENANCE :
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION:
Ensure the power switch on the car heater is at O (off) position and pull the plug from socket. Allow it
to cool completely before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning procedures.
1. BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the Heater. Check for:
a. loose hardware
b. misalignment or binding of moving parts
c. cracked or broken parts.
d. damaged electrical wiring
e. any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
