Continue scanning beyond the marked spot until the red LED go out then slide
the unit in reverse direction to locate the other edge of stud .Mark this second
spot.
Center of stud is the middle between
the two marks.
(4) Detecting Live Wires
The left side live wire red LED will illuminate, warning when in the proximity
from a live wire.
Warning: shielded wires or live wires in metal conduits, casings, metalized
walls or thick dense walls, will not be detected. Always turn AC power off
when working near wiring.
The sensor is designed to detect 110 to 230 volts AC in live electrical wires. It
will also detect the presence of live wires having greater than 230 volts.
(5) Low battery indication
The tool has low battery indication function. When the battery power is low, all
the red lights will start to blink, that reminds you to change new battery
otherwise it will affect the testing accuracy.
Important:
when the tool is under calibration or in scanning operation,
always keep your finger in the grip area and when scanning keep the finger in
the same position as in calibration procedure. Do not touch the upper part of the
tool by all means.
Battery Replacement:
When the battery symbol
appears in the display, replace the
meter’s 9V battery. Replace the 9V battery and close the battery
compartment cover.
You, as the end user, are legally bound (
EU battery
ordinance
) to return all used batteries,
disposal in the
household garbage is prohibited !
You can hand over
your used batteries / accumulators are sold!
Disposal: Follow the valid legal stipulations in respect of
the disposal of the device at the end of its lifecycle.
