Slide the film sideways behind the gate

as shown in Fig. 5.
Start inserting the film at the upper end of the gate. Be sure that the
dull side of the film is towards the lens barrel

, and that the film is
pushed all the way in, so that none of it projects beyond the edge of the
gate. If the film does not slide easily behind the gate, turn the knob
