Programming
Programming the
CR 500 is easily performed using the main
control panel. All programming begins from the main status
screen.
Set Language
To set the display language, press Select. Press Mode.
Choose desired language.
edge control actuator. Set cradle control to FEED ON
position. Program ply height and feed delay if required.
Manually Drive the spreader into the left (Moveable) catcher.
Stop when the pinbar drops onto the knifebox chute. This is
your left end marker. Press Zero Position on control panel set
position. Manually drive the spreader to right end marker. Set
spread length (Press length. Press length position. Press
ok?. Press save to load program.). Press the green START
button to begin automatic spreading. For manual spreading,
use the throttle.
The Knifebox releases the fabric and the spreader travels
slowly to the right, then accelerates after leaving end slow-
down section. As spreader reaches end slowdown section
the spreader slows. When spreader reaches the end marker,
the machine stops. The knifebox clamps the fabric then cuts.
The Spreader jogs to the right then returns to the left end
marker. The elevator will raise (step) as spreader returns.
Spreader will continue this sequence automatically until
manually stopped or predetermined number of plies have
been reached.
IMPORTANT
To stop the CR 500 at any point during spreading,
either:
- Twist and release throttle.
- Press red “STOP” button on MAIN CONTROL
panel.
- Hit the Main Power Button (red).
Change From Inches to Centimeters
To set display for inches or centimeters, press Mode to
switch at any time.
