Connecting Your Receiver to Your TV

Locate the coax cable going from the cable wall outlet to your TV (or other device). 

Disconnect the coax cable from your TV (or other device). Take the coax cable that you 

disconnected from your TV (or other device) and connect it to the CABLE-IN port on your 

new receiver. 

If your TV is HD compatible: 

 

Connect one end of the HDMI cable provided with your install kit to the HDMI port on 

the back of the receiver. Next, take the other end of your HDMI cable and connect it to 

the HDMI port on the back of your TV. Make sure your TV settings are on the HDMI Input, 

corresponding to the TV HDMI Input the receiver is connected to. See next page for a tip 

on using the Input function.

If your TV is not HD compatible: 

 

Connect one end of the Audio/Video Cables provided with your install kit to the 

corresponding colour coded ports on the back of the receiver. Next, take the other end 

of the Audio/Video Cables and connect it to the corresponding colour coded Audio/Video 

ports on the back of your TV.

Finally, insert the power cord into the back of the receiver and insert the other end into 

the electrical outlet.
