2. Remove the cover of the battery compartment by pressing down and
sliding it forward simultaneously (see fig. 15-2).

3. Exchange the batteries for new ones.
4. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
NOTICE
• Observe the correct polarity when you insert the batteries, see the
engraving in the battery compartment.
• Only use batteries of the same type and with the same level of battery
charge.
• Ensure that the instrument’s inside is absolutely dry. Any kind of liquid
will cause damage to the electronic parts of the instrument.
