Keyboard can be used to select input mode:
Definition of key-press: : “0” is used to input space; “1” is used to switch between
uppercase and lowercase in English input method; “#” is used to switch the input mode
among Spelling, ABC, Eng, 123, stroke sequence; “*” is used to input punctuations.
English input:
Intelligent English (Eng) input mode :
Switch to “Eng” input mode by pressing “#”
key, then press the corresponding key of the letter, and system will automatically
chooses the most matching words according to the context, which can be picked by
pushing downwards/ right/ pressing the 5-way joystick or the number key. Press “1” to
switch between capitalization and lowercase (among three modes: abc, Abc, ABC)
abc enter mode:
Switch to “abc” input mode by pressing “#” key, then press the
corresponding key of the letter. System will select matching words automatically.
Press “1” to switch between uppercase and lowercase (among three modes: abc, Abc,
ABC)
Number input:
Switch to “123” input mode by pressing “#” key, then press the corresponding key of
the number. System will select the matching digits automatically.
Symbol input:
Press “*” key to switch to “symbol” input mode, and choose the corresponding symbol
by the 5-way joystick.
