Chain Tension Adjustment

Note: The Mechanical Assist front drive tension has been pre-set. If the chain on the
front drive becomes too loose follow the steps below.
1. To set chain tension on MECHANICAL END RAIL, tighten the chain tension screw.
2. If the adjusting screw bottoms out, remove a link or replace the chain.
3. Loosen the chain tension screw until the end of the thread is flush with the treaded tab it
passes through.
4. Loosen the bearing housing bolts.
5. Remove the existing chain and remove a link or replace with new chain.
6. Re-tighten the bearing housing bolts making sure it is flush against the adjusting tab.

Adjust the chain tension by turning the chain tension screw until the chain has sufficient
tension but is free moving.
