PDI TEST ////////
If the results come back as BAD,
the tool will show “Battery is bad”.
If the test is interrupted, or the
clamps are not detecting the
battery correctly, the result will
come back as “Clamp connection
failure” and the test must be
performed again.
If the battery voltage is too low,
(below 12.4V) the tool will perform
a pre-charge on the battery, then
conti dnue w ith the diagnostic
If the tool determines that the
battery is bad, the tool will ask the
user to input the VIN, RO, and BAC
to generate a warranty code.
BAC should be pre-filled. VIN may
be pre-filled, if vehicle was selected
using VIN Scan Feature.
After Diagnostic Test has been
performed, go to the print icon
to print the receipt of the result.
