4 MAINTENANCE
Always check the electric scooter before use. Check the brakes, make sure everything is tight, check the air
pressure and always use safety equipment.
4.1
Tires
•
The E2S series uses elastic rubber tires. When the tires are worn out or punctured, they need to be replaced.
Refill air once
a week for frequent use!
It is crucial that the tires have the correct air pressure before use. From the box, the tires have
around 2 bar air pressure, and will puncture if you do not fill air. Optimal air pressure is between 3.4 – 4 bar (50 - 60psi).
Proper air pressure provides better range, top speed, acceleration, climbing abilities and good driving comfort. Most
importantly: it drastically reduces the risk of punctures!
•
Punctures are not covered by warranty, except from manufacturing defects. In the event of a puncture, due to different air
pressures in the tire and the surroundings, air will leak out at the valve as this is the only opening for the air to escape. This
usually does not mean that the valve has a defect. To check if the valve has a defect, the tube must be removed and kept
under water. Then see where the air seeps out. Avoid curbs, jumping, unbalanced weight distri fill air to avoid
punctures.
•
When using a valve extender: make sure to not over-tighten the extender as the valve may take damage from this.

•
Make it a habit to always check your scooter,
check air pressure and make sure all visible screws are tight. It is crucial
that all visible screws are re tightened regularly, preferably every week depending on how much you use the product.

Batter
y
•
The E-Series is equipped with a lithium battery. The average life of the battery is about 1000 cycles. During normal use and
good maintenance, the battery life can usually reach more than 1000 cycles.
•
Before using the scooter for the first time, it is extremely important to fully charge the battery.
•
Try to always keep at least 10% and avoid fully draining the battery before charging it.
•
Do not leave the scooter with a flat battery for several hours. Charge the scooter as soon as possible.
•
When storing your scooter for a longer period of time, it is crucial that the battery percentage is at 50% minimum and 80%
maximum.
It is extremely important to charge the scooter at least once a month.
If not the battery will take damage.
•
Always use the original charger when charging your scooter.
•
Do not leave your scooter in areas colder than -5°C, and do not leave it in the middle of the sun rather keep it in the shadow.
•
Lithium batteries must be handled with extreme care. Overcharging, damage or overheating can cause a fire. Always be
awake and present when charging the scooter and do not leave it to charge overnight.
•
Do not use, charge, or leave a damaged battery unattended, follow the disposal protocols
immediately and have it delivered so that it is disposed of correctly.
