tab: Set the details about backlight
and “Touch Buttons.”
The backlighting and Touch
Buttons’ keypad lock functions are
designed to be interlinked.

Check “Turn off backlight if device is not used for…”: Set the backlight to
dim after a specific amount of time elapsed, and meantime “Touch
Buttons” are locked automatically.

Backlighting: Pressing any key other than the Touch Buttons or tapping on
the screen turns the backlight function back on.

Touch Buttons: If you did not manually lock the Touch Buttons, pressing
any key other than the Touch Buttons or tapping on the screen will unlock
the Touch Buttons.

Do not check “Turn off backlight if device is not used for…”: The
backlight will not dim, and “Touch Buttons” will not be locked.
