Routine Maintenance: Blade Replacement

EPLACEMENT
Check the sharpness of the blade after each cutting opera-
tion. Replace blades using the following procedure.
1.
Return the saw bow to its fully retracted position using
the rapid reverse autofeed or using the drive wheel in
manual mode.
2.
Loosen the blade by turning the blade tension knob
counterclockwise.
WARNING:
Use gloves to
remove the worn
blade. There may
be sharp metal fragments on
the blade.
3.
Pull the blade off the mounting pins.
4.
Insert the new blade onto the mounting pins. Make
sure the teeth point to the left as you face the machine.

5.
Turn the blade tension knob clockwise until the blade
is taut.
