5.4.1. Available TCP and UDP Ports
Modbus TCP (Port 502)

The unit identifier of the MBAP header is not used and can be any value from 0 to 255.
HTTP-Webserver (Port 80)
For a quick communication check enter the desired IP in a web browser and connect with the EE360 Ethernet
Module’s Webserver.

Alternatively send an ICMP echo request (“ping”) to check correct communication settings.
UDP (Port 5234)
Backwards compatible communication protocol with EE36. Communication via Ethernet takes place by means of
UDP packets, which transport a command or a command response in EE36 protocol format as payload data. See

Factory setting: DHCP disabled (static IP). Please refer to Fig. 24 below.
