When using electrical equipment, basic safety
precautions should always be followed including the
following:

NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar
with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified
electrician.

Locating knockout in an adjustable fitter:
a.
Remove wiring compartment cover from adjustable fitter
using Phillips screwdriver.
b. Using a hammer and a punch, remove knockout of wiring
compartment cover.
See Figure 1.
c. See photocontrol installations. (On backside)
E-ACP1EXT for use with 1000W 120V (Slip Fitter mounting
only):
a. Refer to
Figure 2
and drill a 7/8” (22 mm) hole at the
knockout.
b. Remove nut from photocell.
LOCATING KNOCKOUT
CAUTIONS
c. Slide photocell through opening.
d. Attach nut, and secure in place.
e. Complete the wiring per wiring instructions.
f. Slide Shield adjustment: slide open makes light turn on later/
off earlier. As slide covers “eye”, lights will turn on earlier/off
later.
Locating knockout on directional flood junction box cover:
a. Using a hammer and a punch, remove knockout of wiring
compartment cover. See
Figure 3.
b. See photocontrol installations. (on backside).
Locating knockout on E-WPC2:
a. Loosen (2) Phillips screws on bottom of lens frame.
b. Lift and remove lens frame.
c. Photocontrol knockout is located on the right side of housing
near the capacitor.
d. Using a hammer and a punch, remove knockout of wiring
compartment cover. See
Figure 4.
e. Removal of the capacitor bracket may be required to install
the photocontrol.

Locating knockout on E-WPC1:
a. Loosen (2) Phillips screws on bottom of Lens Frame.
b. Lift and remove Lens Frame.
c. Photocontrol knockout is located on the lower right side of
housing by the reflector.
d.
Remove reflector by removing (3) T-20 torx head screws.
Fold insulation (if installed) back out of the way for installation
of photocontrol.
e. Using a hammer and a punch, remove knock out of wiring
compartment. See
Figure 5.
f. See photocontrol installations.
g.
If insulation is present under reflector, fold insulation over
photocontrol to provide shielding. The insulation has a U-slot
so that the insulation can slide between the photocontrol and
housing prior to tightening the thread nut.
h.
Replace reflector and lens.
