6.12.- SAVE:
1.- The transceiver should be in full screen mode.
2.- Input the desired frequency.
3.- This procedure is only necessary to set the frequency of the "Offset": Press the [FUN] key to
access the menu, use [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the channel knob until display the menu 16
(frequency shift direction), access the menu by pressing the [PTT]. Use the [UP] key / [DOWN] or
or turn the channel knob until display the menu 17 (offset frequency setting), access the settings by
pressing [PTT], input the frequency "xx.xxxx MHz”, then, press the [PTT] to confirm (this will be
the transmission frequency). Press the [FUN] button to store the parameter and exit from this menu.
4.- This procedure is only necessary to set the CTCSS/DCS encode and decode.
Press [FUN] key to access the menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the channel knob until
display the menu 18 (receiving CTCSS/DCS setting), use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the
channel knob to select the desired code, press [MONI] key to switch between DCS and CTCSS
modes, press [FUN] key to set normal DCS code or inverted code, use [PTT] to confirm and then,
press [FUN] key to exit.
5.- Press [FUN] and [VFO] keys, the channel will flash, input the desired channel using the keypad
and press [VFO] key to confirm, then press [VFO] key to shift to the new channel, operation
completed.
6.- Delete a saved channel:
In FrChannel mode, select a saved channel (unlocked).
Press [VFO] key for 2 seconds, the LCD will indicate “DEL--?”, then press
[PTT] key, and the channel will be deleted.
6.13.- RESET:
Holding the [VFO] key, turn on the transceiver, it will display a message
"RESET?", press the [PTT] to confirm and the transceiver will return to its
factory settings.
6.14.- BATTERY CAPACITY:
When the battery voltage is lower than the value set, the status indicator
LED will flash red and the transceiver will alert you with a "Beep". The
LCD will show "BAT LOW" (low battery), and can't transmit any more.
Turn off the radio to change or charge the battery. If you don't change or
charge the battery, the transceiver will automatically turn off.
6.15.- ALARM:
When you are in an emergency situation, press [ALARM] key for 2 seconds and the remote alarm
function will be activated, and the whole group will be notified; press the key again to stop the
alarm.
