Note: If LANG is set then           will first delete
each character blinking at the cursor until it has
deleted the LANG function. It will then delete the
character to the right of the cursor. Cursor move-
ment is disabled while LANG is set.
• In English Mode:
Press to delete the character to the left of the flashing
cursor or to exit certain function key operations.

CLEAR TEXT

Press to clear all the current text and cancel any
fixed length setting while leaving the text size and
other settings (style, box, copies, justification etc.)
unchanged. Also use to exit or clear certain func-
tion key operations.

TEXT SIZE 

• The display shows the current selection of text

Normal 

BIG

• Normal and BIG heights are available only on
9mm and 12mm labels. Small (half-normal) height
is available on all labels.
• Press SIZE to select menu

Use        to select the size symbol required and
then press      to confirm the selection.

The "B" (BIG FONT) mode will produce highly visi-
ble 9mm or 12mm labels. 
Note: In "B" mode all Latin characters will be print-
ed as capitals.
• To create a label in "B" mode, press SIZE for 

the size menu and then move 

H

until "B" is 

flashing. Press      to confirm. 
The BIG indicator light switches on in the display.

• In "B" mode, you can select condensed, normal 

or extended widths. The BOX/UL and Style 
options are disabled. (If you have pressed Box or 
Style while in BIG – press DEL to exit these 
menus.)

• Conversely – if you have already set a box or
style you will not be able to select BIG without first
canceling these.
• Pressing 2-Line      while in BIG automatically
switches size to small!! To reset BIG you must
first DEL the 2-Line function, then again press
SIZE, select "B" and confirm     .

Tip: Always monitor the sizes indicated in your
display and whether the BIG indicator light is on!

BOXED/UNDERLINED PRINTING  

• If no Box/Underline option has been selected, 

pressing (BOX/UL) once will display the menu 
below:

LANG is set.

English Mode

Caution: Switching from Hebrew Mode to English
Mode (and vice-versa) erases the currently stored
label from memory but retains the last settings
(size, style, box, etc.). Check and adjust for
desired settings or first press RESET for standard
default settings and then switch to English Mode.

English Mode locks alphabet characters into left-
to-right Latin ONLY. It allows both CAPS (A-B-C)
and lower-case (a-b-c) characters to be keyed in
directly from the keyboard. Hebrew characters can
NOT be entered in this mode. 

• To switch from Hebrew to English Mode, press the

key, release and then press the LANG key. 

The cursor jumps to the left corner of the 
display. As characters are keyed in, 
the cursor will be to the right of the last character.

PRINTING  

First double check displayed text, size, and indica-
tors (BIG, Box, Justification, etc.) See ‘PREVIEW’.
• Press the        key to print the label.
• Depress cutter lever to release label –see p.2. 
• If the display shows 

ggggggggg

, the tape 

cassette installed in the machine is too narrow 
for the label to be printed; change the cassette to 
a wider tape or adjust the label text size.

Caution: If the print mechanism churns but no
label emerges, do NOT press PRINT again.
Remove the tape cassette and check whether it is
empty. If not, check that the ink ribbon is not torn,
and is wound taut, that the tape passes under the
cassette guideposts B (3) and that there are no
obstructions in the tape path near the roller or
print head C (1) - C (2). Carefully reinsert cassette
(wound taut), close hinged cover and print again.

INCREMENTAL NUMBERING

To print labels with consecutive numbering :
• Key in your starting number as the right most 

digit on the label. Press       then          and the 
display will automatically move up a digit to the 
next number. Press       then        to continue the 
sequence.

It is also possible to include automatic incremental
numbering 
when printing multiple copies :
• Key in your starting number, eg. LABEL 1A .
• Next press       then         followed by 

H

until the 

desired number of copies are displayed, eg.10, 
or use

to move the cursor under the 

number digits and key in the number required. 
Press      to confirm. 
Now press      then       . This will print ten labels 
- LABEL 1A to LABEL 10A. While using fixed 
length setting, the LP200 will stop printing when 
the label exceeds the fixed length.

DELETE   

• In Hebrew Mode:
Press once to delete the character to the right of
the cursor or to exit certain function key opera-
tions. Use the cursor-arrows key to position the
cursor at the left of the character to be deleted.
