Recommendations for optimal use of the battery
The battery pack is not fully charged. To ensure full capacity of the battery pack,
completely charge the battery pack in the charger before using your fan for the first
time.
A battery pack will slowly lose its charge when kept out of the charger or left in an
unplugged charger for a long time. It may need to be recharged before use.
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, the
equipment is switched off by means of a protective circuit. The fan will not longer rotate.
In a warm environment or after heavy use, the battery pack may become too hot to permit
charging. Allow time for the battery pack to cool down before recharging. The Li-ion battery
can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging
procedure does not damage the battery pack.
How to charge the battery
CAUTION:
Do not continue to press the on/off switch after the fan has been automatically
switched off. The battery could be over-discharged.
Store the battery pack only within a temperature range between 0⁰C and 45⁰C. As an
example, do not leave the battery in the car in summertime. A significant reduced working
period after charging indicates the battery pack is used and must be replaced.
Transport
The contained Li-ion batteries are subject to dangerous goods legislation requirements.
Dispatch batteries only when the battery housing in undamaged. Pack up the batteries in
such a manner that cannot move around in the packaging.
Maintenance
Clean the battery with a soft, clean and dry cloth or brush.

The European directive 2012 / 19 / CE on Waste Elec
-
trical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household
electrical appliances must not be disposed in the normal unsorted
municipal waste stream. Return exhausted batteries to your local
collection or recycling point.
Do not tamper with or disassemble the battery. Do not dispose the battery into
fire. Stop using the battery immediately if it gets expanded. Do not expose the
battery to excessive heat, direct sunlight, fire or hot enclosures.
