Operation  

Connect machine to suitable power source. If extension cord 

is to be used only waterproof is acceptable.  

DC Canada recommends cleaning it before the machine is 

shut down. Machine must be running to preform filter 

cleaning. To preform filter cleaning first loosen end cuff off 

tool. Block the end cuff by pressing it onto the cylindrical 

protrusion on the outlet channel. Push the side flap open 

and release it quickly to pulse the filter. Repeat this 3-6 

times. Below is a pictorial showing the correct procedure.  

 

Service 

During cleaning disconnect unit from power. The DC AirCube 

500 is equipped with a filter indication lamp alerting you 

when the filter requires changing. Generally when the unit is 

experiencing low suction the pre-filter should be changed. If 

low suction persists then a HEPA filter change may be 

required. When changing either filter ensure that proper 

breathing protection is in place for both the direct vicinity 

and surrounding areas. Changing the HEPA filter of the DC 

AirCube 500 required that you un-clamp the pre-filter and
