5. Setting the Alarm Time

The buzzer, CD or radio will be turned on to wake you up at the preset ALARM time.

To check the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 time, slide the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch
to BUZZER or AUTO position and the ALARM switch to position 1 or position 2,
then press the ALARM SET button. The individual alarm time will be shown on the
display until you release the ALARM SET button.

To set the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 time, slide the BUZZER/AUTO/OFF/ON switch to
BUZZER or AUTO position and the ALARM switch to position 1 or position 2, and
press the ALARM SET button down together with the HOUR or MINUTE button until
the desired time is displayed, then release both buttons.

To set ALARM 1, slide the ALARM switch to position
1, the ALARM 1 lamp will be steadily on in the display.
To set ALARM 2, slide the ALARM switch to position
2, the ALARM 2 lamp will be steadily on in the display.
NOTE:
You can set either alarm or both, the individual
ALARM lamp (ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 or both)
will light up in the display.
This set has dual alarms. You may set ALARM 1 to wake you at a certain time, or
ALARM 2 to wake you at a different time, or ALARM 1+2, both alarms will sound at
the time you set.

AUTO position will wake you up to CD or radio.

NOTE:
1. When the ALARM switch is in the ALARM 1+2 position, you can

t check and set the
ALARM time.
2. If you want this set to wake you up in the morning, the PM lamp should not light up
on alarm time, this means AM (morning time).
3. Make sure the volume is set loud enough to wake you up in the morning
.
4. You can fall asleep to CD or radio and then have the set wake you up in the
morning (see sleep instructions on page 10).
