Print Speed Adjustment Function
The printing speed can be selected from among 60 pages per minute, 80 pages per minute and 130 pages per minute.
The default setting when the power is turned ON is about 80 pages per minute.
• Paper jams may become more frequent and the paper stacking deteriorate at high and low
speeds with certain types of paper and with certain images. Satisfactory performance of
printing can be obtained by adjusting the printing speed.
• The prints may be slightly lighter at high printing speeds and slightly darker at slow printing
speeds.
• You can adjust the printing speed while the machine is printing.

Press

keys to adjust the speed.
Press
key to decelerate printing. The printing speed
indicator lamp moves to the left.
Press
key to accelerate printing. The printing speed
indicator lamp moves to the right.
To return to the default setting (about 80 pages
per minute), use one of the following two methods:
• Press

key repeatedly until the center
speed lamp is lit.
• Press
(ALL CLEAR) key. In this case, all
settings are reset to standard mode (

the machine is printing.
