8 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
8.6 Shutdown Input
• Boiler has a shutdown input, input is on BL terminals of
control board.
• Only suitable for potential free contacts.
• When using this input remove jumper cable.
• Change input setting using P36. See parameter Settings
page 56.
8.7 Release Input
• Boiler has release input, input is on RL terminals of
connector.
• Change input setting using P37. See parameter Settings
page 56.
• Only suitable for potential free contacts.
8.8 Optional Electrical Connections:
Auxiliary Control Box
Control PCBs are located in auxiliary control box. See
instructions provided with control PCB.
• Unclip PCB cover
• Remove cover
Connection Options for 0-10V Control PCB (IF-01)
IF-01 control PCB is built into auxiliary control box. Refer to
instructions supplied with product.
Do not connect freeze thermostat or room thermostat to
boiler if using 0-10 V control PCB.
1.
Connection Status (Nc) - If boiler locks out, a relay is
de-energized and an alarm can be transmitted via a dry
set of contacts (maximum 120 VAC-1A) on terminals Nc
and C of the control board connection.
2.
Connection Status (OTm) - Interface communicates
with boiler control using Open Therm protocol. OTm
connection must be connected to Open Therm input OT
of boiler control.
3.
Analogue Input (0-10V) - Control can be based on
temperature or heat output. Two controls are described
below. Analog control, 0-10 V signal must be connected to
the interface.
