6.5 Manufacturer Recommendation - Strainer
Manufacturer Recommendation
Manufacturer strongly recommends the use of a strainer filtering potable water before entering
the boiler. The strainer prevents any sedimentation and debris from your water supply piping
from entering the boiler. Debris carried from the water supply will clog DHW water flow sensor,
potentially resulting in significant operation issues.
Locate the strainer as close to the boiler as possible and place on DHW (domestic hot water) inlet
connection located at bottom of the boiler.
