Start a hole inside your circle with a drill bit or other
method, then use a reciprocating saw to cut out the
circle as neat as possible.
Measure out 1” (25mm) past your circle and draw
another line.
This will be the line you cut out so the chimney pipe will
fit through.
Using a pencil or pen, trace around the outside of the
adapter pipe.
Install the back wall shield centered over chimney hole
with 1 ½” (38mm) screws.
