OPERATION
Powering ON and OFF

vate the DT311SC/ DT311T, push and quickly release the Power Bu
tt
on. The display
will come on in a few seconds. To put the DT311SC/ DT311T in Standby mode, push and
quickly release the Power Bu
tt
on. To turn the DT311SC/ DT311T o

for extended storage,

on that “shuts down computer” provided in the

ng system.
NOTE:
The ba
tt
ery pack shipped with your tablet may be low in power—please use the
AC-DC adapter with the DT311SC/ DT311T when se

ng up for the

rst
ti
me to
fully charge the ba
tt
ery pack.
NOTE:
When the ba
tt
ery pack is charging, the blue-colored Ba
tt
ery LED should blink
slowly. If plugging in the AC-DC adapter does not trigger this blinking ac
ti
vity and
the LED stays dark, the ba
tt
ery pack(s) may have been drained substan
ti
ally. Try
unplugging/ replugging the AC-DC adapter to the DT311SC/ DT311T a few
ti
mes
to ac
ti
vate the charging process.
NOTE:
To conserve power, use (push and quick release) the Power Bu
tt
on to put the
tablet in “Standby” mode while not in use. Pushing brie
fl
y on the same bu
tt
on
will wake up the system within seconds.
NOTE:
Avoid using the Power Bu
tt
on (“hold 4+ seconds” feature) to turn o
ff
the
tablet—this form of hardware shutdown is intended to be a means of recovery
from lockups, and not as normal opera

on.
