Before Initial Use
• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness
(see the “Article Overview and Items Supplied” chapter) and
transport damage. If you
fi
nd any damage to the components,
do not use them (!), but contact our customer service
department.
Inserting / Changing Batteries
1. Use a cross-head screwdriver to undo the screw on the battery
compartment cover.
2. Pull the battery compartment cover upwards.
3. Insert three 1.5 V type D batteries. Ensure the correct
polarity (+/–) when inserting the batteries.
4. Place the locking lugs of the battery compartment cover into
the recesses of the battery compartment and press the battery
compartment cover down.
5. Fix the battery compartment cover in place with the screw.
Use
• When

lling the article, make sure that the gripper
arm is
not
at the height of the feed opening in order to
prevent damage to the mechanism.
• Only pour wrapped sweets into the container! You
cannot clean the inside of the container as the lid
cannot be opened.
• Do
not

ll the container. Do not

ll the container
any higher than the top edge of the divider.
1. Switch on the article by moving the On/Off switch (

) to
the
ON
position.
2. Insert a plastic coin (

) into the coin slot (

). Music begins to
play.
3. Press the
left / right lever
(

) to the left until the gripper
arm (

) is at least in the middle of the container (

).
4. Slide the cover over the feed opening (

) in the direction of the
arrow and take it off.
5. Fill the article with any wrapped sweets you want.
6. Close the feed opening (

) again.
7. Insert another plastic coin (

) into the coin slot (

). Music begins
to play. You now have around 60 seconds to grab something
and move it to the outlet (

). The music then stops and the
article switches off.
8. Use the three levers (
3 – 5
) to move the gripper arm (

).
When you move the gripper arm (
10
) downwards, it
automatically opens up and then closes again at the bottom
of the container (

). The gripper arm (
10
) only opens again
once it has been pulled up and is then moved downwards.
9. Switch off the article by moving the On/Off switch (

) to
the
OFF
position.
10. If necessary empty the coin compartment (

) on the bottom
of the article (see the “Emptying Coin Compartment” section).
Emptying Coin Compartment
Once you have inserted all of the plastic coins, you need to empty
the coin compartment.
1. Slide the cover on the coin compartment (
11
) in the direction of
the arrow and pull it up and off.
2. Remove the plastic coins (
7
).
3. Place the locking lugs of the cover into the recesses of the coin
compartment (
11
) and press down the cover.
4. Slide the cover counter to the direction of the arrow. You must
hear and feel it engage.

it in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a
recycling centre.

Non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries should be
removed prior to disposal of the article and disposed of
separately from the article. To protect the environment,
non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of with normal household waste, but must be
taken to suitable collection points. Also note the relevant
statutory regulations governing the disposal of batteries.
