Explanation of symbols and signal words

Hazard symbols: This symbol indicates risks of 

injury. Carefully read through the corresponding 

safety notes and comply with them.

Proper use

•  The pan is intended to be used to prepare food on all customary 

stove types (gas, electric and induction stoves).

•  Oven suitability: up to 

max. 150 °C

•  The pan is 

not

 microwave-safe.

•  The pan should only be used as described in these instructions. 

Any other use is deemed to be improper.

•  The pan is for personal and domestic use only and are not in-

tended for commercial applications.

There may still be some production residues on the pan. Boil 

water in the pan before you

 rst use it and clean the pan thor-

oughly (see “Cleaning and Storage”).

 

CAUTION – Danger of burns! 

 

Be careful when handling a hot pan. Only ever hold it by the 

handle. Never leave a hot pan unattended near to children 

or animals! 

 

For use in an oven use potholders or oven gloves. Be aware 

that the handle will also become hot in the oven. 

 

Allow the pan to cool down completely before you clean it.

NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

 

Do not overheat pan, e. g. by heating it for a long time with 

nothing in it! Overheating can result in material damage 

and the production of smoke. 

If smoke is produced, switch 

off the stove immediately, remove the pan from the hot hob and 

make sure there is suf

fi

 cient ventilation in the room. 

 

Do not use a pan if it is damaged. Check the bottom of the 

pan for damage before each use! Do not use a pan if there are 

scratches, score marks or uneven areas on the bottom of the 
pan. Do not slide a pan over a glass ceramic hob as it could be 
scratched. 

The manufacturer is not liable for any damage 

caused by inappropriate use! 

 

Notes on induction stoves: 

 

Induction stoves heat up at a faster rate than other types of 

stove. 

 

Noises may be produced when pans are used on induction 

stoves. These are caused by the electromagnetic properties 

of induction stoves and induction crockery and do not consti-

tute a defect.

 

Never pour cold water into the pan when it is still hot. This could 

cause the coat to rupture.

 

Only use suitable kitchen utensils (e. g. spatulas or cooking 

spoons) preferably made of wood or plastic.

 

Do not allow the pan to drop or subject it to strong impacts.

 

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or clean-

ing pads. These can damage the surface.

Before 

fi

 rst use

1.  Check whether the product contents are complete (see “Items 

Supplied”) and check for damage from transport. Do not use the 

parts if they are damaged, instead contact customer service.

2.  Attach the handle to the pan:

 

Place a spring ring onto the screw. 

Put the connecting piece on the pan 

and then the handle on the connect-

ing piece.

 

Screw the handle with connecting 

piece on the pan.

NOTICE: Tighten the handle screw if 

the handle becomes loose at some 

point.

Use

1.  Choose a hob that suits the size of the pan.
2.  Warm the pan up a little.
3.  Pour fat into the empty pan and then select the required frying/

cooking temperature; this will prevent overheating.

4.  Once the fat has spread evenly, add the food to be fried and 

reduce the temperature. 

5.  Initially the food to be fried will stick to the pan, but after a few 

seconds it will detach itself. Only then should you turn it and 

fi

 nish frying at a lower setting.

Cleaning and Storage

•  Wipe down the pan with kitchen towel as soon as possible after 

use and wash it up with mild detergent and warm water. Soak 

dried-on residues in hot water. 

•  Although the pan is dishwasher-safe, frequent cleaning in the 

dishwasher may attack the coating and the 

fi

 ttings on the pan. 

It is therefore recommended that the pan should be rinsed by 

hand.

•  After cleaning you should dry all parts thoroughly. 
•  Store the pan in a dry, clean place that is not accessible to 

children and animals.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally-friendly 

manner and make it available to the collection service for 

recyclable materials. Dispose of the product in an environ-

mental-friendly manner.
