5. If the rechargeable battery is too low, let the device recharge in the charging station.
With the

button, let the device return to the charging station or put it back to start
charging the battery again.
6. If no automatic start (timer) has been activated, pull the mains adapter out of the
socket.
The device will switch itself off after a few minutes and the start / pause
switch (

) will go out.
7. Empty the dust bin (

) after every use and, if necessary, remove any dirt (see chapter
“Cleaning and maintenance”).

If you would like to use the remote control to con
fi
gure the device, make sure
that you are not in the direct vicinity of an infrared source (e. g. the charging
station) as it could interfere with the remote control.

The remote control only works within a radius of 4 m to the device.
Cleaning and maintenance
ATTENTION!

The device may not be connected to the mains and must be switched off for cleaning
and maintenance!

Only the dust bin may be rinsed out. The device itself, the
fi
lters or the remote control
may not be immersed in water or in other liquids. Make sure that the dust bin is com-
pletely dry before you place it back in the device!
■
None of the parts of the robotic vacuum cleaner are suitable for cleaning in the was-
hing machine or dishwasher!
■
When cleaning, do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners. They could damage
the surface.
Before and after each use, make sure that
• the nozzle (

) and the vents (

) are unobstructed,
• the sensors (
3, 8
) on the device are free of dust or similar,
• the side brushes (

) are not entangled and are free of hair and threads,
• no hair, threads or similar are wrapped around the wheels (
9, 12
).
The side brushes may be cleaned with warm water.
Cleaning the housing
1. Remove any coarse dirt from the device.
2. Use a damp cloth to wipe the rubber lip on the nozzle (

).
3. If necessary, wipe the housing off with a damp cloth only.
Emptying the dust bin and cleaning the
fi
lters
For proper operation of the device, you should empty the dust bin (

) and clean the
fi
lters after every use.
• You can knock out the
fi
lters and / or use the enclosed cleaning brush to brush them
out.
• You can rinse the dust bin (

) out with water.
