II Inserting / Replacing the Nozzle
Select a nozzle (
15
) depending on the spray jet diameter you want and insert it as fol-
lows:
1. Unscrew the screw
fi
tting (
12
) from the spray unit (
1
).
2. If a nozzle has already been inserted, lever it out of the spray unit with the aid of a
fl
at
screwdriver if necessary.
3. Insert the nozzle you want into the spray unit.
4. Guide the lever for adjusting the spray cone (
14
) through the opening of the screw
fi
tting and place the ring of the lever into the screw
fi
tting.
5. Insert the nozzle attachment (
13
) into the screw
fi
tting with the two small “handles”
at the front.
6. Screw the screw
fi
tting back onto the spray unit.
III Pouring in Colouring Agent
1. Unscrew the paint container (
11
) from the spray unit and align the suction tube (
10
):
–
If you want to spray horizontally or inclined downwards, turn the end of the suction
tube forwards (Picture
G
).
–
If you want to spray upside down or the device is to be directed upwards, turn the
end of the suction tube towards the handle of the main unit (
2
) (Picture
H
).
2. Place the paint container down on a mat and pour in the prepared coating material
(see the “Coating Material (Paint)” section). When you do this, do not exceed the top
marking on the paint container (Picture
I
).
3. Wipe off possible blobs of the coating material from the thread of the paint container.
Screw the paint container into the spray unit. Check that it
fi
ts securely.
IV Adjusting the Spray Jet
Turn the nozzle attachment (
13
) (Picture
J
) to set one of the 3 possible
jet forms
:
Horizontal
fl
at jet for work-
ing in a vertical direction
Vertical
fl
at jet for working
in a horizontal direction
Round jet for corners,
edges and places that are
hard to reach
You can use the lever for adjusting the
spray cone
(
14
) to switch between a wide spray
cone (for large surface areas) and a narrow spray cone (for more precise spraying)
(Picture
J
).
The
amount of coating material
emerging is regulated with the adjusting screw (
6
). The
further it is screwed into the spray lever (
7
), the more coating material is supplied. The
further out it is screwed, the less the amount of coating material is supplied (Picture
K
).
