CONNECTING THE CONTROL TO THE UNDERBLANKET 

Quick start guide to heat settings on the back of the control unit: 

Express  Heat Up – Fast Pre-heat 

2 – All Night Use (Max) 

1 – All Night Use (Min) 

0 – Off

WARNING! This appliance is only to be used with the control 

unit supplied with it. The reference of the control unit is 

specified on the label  sewn onto the appliance. Fig. [B] (5).
WARNING! DO NOT place the control unit under the pillow or 

under the sheets when in use.

Join the connector (2) of the control unit to connector (1) on the blanket. Ensure the plug is pushed fully 

home until the locking catch engages. (Diagram [A]). 
USING YOUR BLANKET

Your Dreamland Starlight Express heated underblanket is designed to fast pre-heat your bed in 10 

minutes. It also has 2 “all night use settings”  which you can choose to keep you warm whilst in bed all 

night long. The temperature control has 3 heat settings (Diagram [C]). 
EXPRESS HEAT UP is ONLY for preheating your underblanket. 

2 ALL NIGHT USE is the maximum temperature. 

1 ALL NIGHT USE is the minimum temperature. 

DO NOT GET INTO BED WITH YOUR BLANKET ON THE EXPRESS HEAT UP SETTING. Before getting 

into bed, you must either select the all night use option or switch off your blanket. 
Plug into the main socket (3)  (Diagram [B])

Switch on the electric blanket (6) selecting Express Heat Up setting. The control unit will light up BLUE 

showing that the underblanket is on. In 10 minutes your bed will be pleasantly warm. This time may vary 

depending on room temperature and additional bed covers. 

When you go to bed if you wish to keep your blanket on all night, you must select your desired temperature 

from settings 1 or 2 for all night use. (6) (Diagram [C]). Setting 2 being the warmest. 

If you do not want your blanket on all night, switch the electric blanket off by selecting 0 on the control 

switch (6) (Diagram [C]).
DISCONNECT: To disconnect your electric blanket from the mains, switch the control to OFF position 

selecting O on the control switch (6) (Diagram [C]) and then safely disconnet the plug from the main 

socket (3) (Diagram [B).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Your electric blanket is suitable for washing. Check the washing instructions on the label of your 

underblanket to wash it correctly.

WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains 

supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
