WIN98 Hardware Installation
•
Turn power off
•
Plug the card into an unused PCI slot.
•
Turn power on
•
Insert CD-ROM
•
WIN98 plug & play sequence finds new hardware « SAM9777 : PCI sound card »
•
WIN98 asks for drivers to install and asks to check a device, select CD-ROM
•
Browse into « cdrom:\Dream97.bin »
•
Follow WIN98 installation procedure.
•
Now your hardware is installed
WIN95/98 Joystick Installation
•
To install the joystick:
•
From « start / settings /control panel / Add new hardware »
•
WIN95/98 asks to automatically check for new hardware, select « No »
•
Browse « sound, video & game controllers »
•
In the « Manufacturers list » select « Microsoft » and in the « Products list » select « Gameport »
•
Follow WIN98 installation procedure.
•
Now the Game port is installed
WIN95/98 Hardware Checking
•
From "start / settings /control panel / system / device manager / sound, video & game controllers",
check that your card is correctly installed. It should appears as « SAM9777 : PCI sound card »
•
To define the 9777PC1 Wave table as default MIDI device:
From « start / settings /control panel / multimedia / midi »: select « Midi Dream »
•
To define the 9777PC1 Wave as default wave device:
From « start / settings /control panel / multimedia / wave »:
select « DREAM 9777, wave Nb1 » as playback
select « DREAM 9777, wave record » as recording
check « show volume control on the taskbar »

Now your hardware is checked & configured
WIN95/98 Hardware Uninstallation
•
To Uninstall the 9777PC1 sound card:
From « start / settings /control panel / Add/Remove programs »:
select « SAM9777 : PCI sound card - Uninstall »
•
Follow the Uninstall procedure
•
Turn the power off
•
remove the 9777PC1 card
•
Now your hardware is correctly uninstalled
