Safety

Note! 

When the PCI card is installed in a vacant PCI port 

it is 

very important that the computer is shut off and the cable 
that leads to the PSU is pulled out. 

•  Computer components are very sensitive to static electricity, 

use an antistatic wristband when installing or handling the card. 

•  If you do not have a wristband you should divert your static 

electricity by touching the computer chassis just before and 
while you insert the card. 

•  The PCI card should be pushed in equally far along the 

entire row when properly installed. 

•  Lock the card in place using a screw or another type of fastener.

now commence.

end the installation.

8.  The installation can 

now be verified by 
checking in

computer and any 
connected devices. 
Pull out the plug from 
the wall socket. 

2.  Insert the card into 

the PCI Express slot. 

3.  Connect the computer 

to a wall socket. 

4.  Start your computer.
