OPERATION

6. The Retractable Safety Gate is easy to use and allows for one-handed operation by adults.

To close the Retractable Gate

•  Release the gate by pushing down the Release Button (Z) (see 6-1), and while maintaining downward pressure, 

  turning the Release Button (Z) clockwise  (see 6-2).

•  The gate is now unlocked, and the Release Button (Z) can be released.

•  Pull out the Safety Barrier (A) (see 6-3) without stopping and hook the Locking Catches (F) over the Locking Hooks (E).

•  Retractable Gate automatically locks closed.

WARNING – AFTER CLOSING Retractable Safety Gate, ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE GATE IS LOCKED.

To open the Retractable Gate

•  Release the gate by repeating the operations in 6-1 and 6-2.

•  Unhook the gate, hold handle while it retracts back into its casing.

•  Please note that the noise while retracting gate is meant as a warning signal. 

•  To avoid the noise, simply keep button depressed while retracting the Safety Gate.
