3-3. Setting for ISDN
Switch Type
miniVigor128 supports “Normal Switch”, “DDI point to point
switch” and “DDI point to multipoint switch”. You can use
the default setting, “Normal Switch”, as your switch type. If
your local switch provider has already informed you that your
switch type is DDI ( Direct Dial In), you shall select the DDI
switch type for using miniVigor128.
Analog Coding
This is for analog coding method. It is A-law in Europe, u-law
for USA and Taiwan. For other area, please make sure what
analog coding method is being adopted by your local Telecom.
Otherwise, there will have problems for Fax, V.23 and V.22 bis
connection.
