BASIC OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
The Multi-Sport Practice Cage is operated from a key switch located on the wall closest to the motor. Key switch or controls
should be located to be in full view of practice cage during operation. The cage cannot be operated without the key.
When operating the cage, make sure you adhere to the following procedure or you may run the risk of damage to the cage as-
sembly:
1. After verifying that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away, turn and hold key in a counter-clockwise
direction to lower the cage.
2. After cage has been fully unfolded and just prior to folding the cage back up, verify the following:
A. Verify that no components of the cage assembly have been damaged in anyway. If any damage is evident, do not operate
cage and contact manufacturer or your local representative immediately for repair.
B. Verify that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away.
C. To allow greater clearance when the cage is not in use, the sides of the netting material can be manually folded on top of
the net support frame. Great care should be used when unfolding the netting material to insure the net does not catch on
exposed clamps or hardware on the net support frame.
3. After carefully checking and complying with the items in step 3 above, turn and hold key in a clockwise direction to raise the
cage.
The following safety precautions should also be taken:
1. ONLY staff persons thoroughly trained and qualifi ed in the operation of the cage should operate it.
2. NEVER leave the key in the switch or in an unsecured location accessible to unauthorized operators.
3. Do not attempt to climb cage netting at any time.
4. Do not interfere in any way with the operation of the cage as it is folding up or down.
