– Rotate the turntable by pressing the pedal
until the bead is completely out of the rim.
Be careful not to insert fingers between the tyre
and rim while rotating the chuck.
– Push the arm
aside and extract an inner tube (if
fitted).
– Repeat the same operation to remove the second
bead.
9.4 MOUNTING OPERATIONS (FIGS.10 – 11).
– Lubricate the tyre bead and place it on the rim;
move the head to the working position.
– Place the bead on the edge of the head
and
under the tongue.
– Rotate the turntable by pressing the rotation pedal
taking care to make the bead move into the
central groove of the rim so as to eliminate
weakening the bead.
(To help this action it is advisable to press down on
the tyre with the hands).
– Move the adjustable arm (TO FREE THE WORK
AREA)
– Repeat the initial operation (see above) to locate
the second bead.

In the case that the bead has difficulty descending
from the head, it will be necessary to “raise” (move
upwards) the rotation pedal
making the
turntable rotate in an anticlockwise direction.
– Move the arm and press the open/close pedal
to unlock the rim.
