. The

slide is pushed upwards to start (I = on) and
downwards (O = off) to stop (Fig.3).

WARNING

Make sure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to the mains.

SPEED CONTROL

In order to improve the machines performance,
and provide maximum working efficiency on all
types of material, the R1900V has an electronic
speed control knob.

The knurled knob

❁✌

is mounted on the body of

the machine and is marked with numbers from 1
to 6. Minimum speed is at position 1 and the
speed progressively increases to maximum
speed at position 6.

Carefully choose the ideal speed for the work
that has to be performed by carrying out
preliminary tests (Fig.4).

This model is also fitted with an electronic speed
regulation system with the following
specifications:

– “Soft Start” starting: allows gradual collet

rotation starting and reaching of maximum pre-
fixed speed in three seconds.

– “Constant Electronic”: maintains the preset

rotation speed constant, whatever the diameter
of the bit inserted in the collet and the friction
generated by the material.

– Current limiter: a safety device which reduces

the electric power supply of the tool to a
minimum, when there is an overload of 1600W.

The router must always be held by both hand
grips

✯✌

(Fig.3). The on/off switch
