Warning: Do not connect the machine to the power supply before the product is completely

assembled.

8.1 CHARGING

NOTE: The micro USB connector is tapered and will only go in one way, do not force the

micro USB connector into the lamp; as it may damage the connector or short circuit the

lamp, this may invalidate your guarantee.
Connect the charging micro USB cable

into the charging input

(6)

, which is located under the

cover at the end of the worklight. Connect the other USB A plug to a USB output adaptor

(not supplied). The red LED charging indicator will illuminate to indicate charging, and the green

LED will be on when the battery is fully charged.
Disconnect the charger from the worklight when it is fully charged.
Lithium-ion cells prefer small charges often.
Lithium-ion technology is lightweight and compact due to increased capacity in comparison to

other battery chemistries.
Lithium-ion cells have no ‘memory effect’ and a long cycle life with outstanding discharge

performance.
Lithium-ion cells suffer from a loss in capacity or thermal runaway if over charged and will degrade

if allowed to enter deep discharge, however all of these situations are negated due to the complex

circuitry incorporated within this product.
Charging must be carried out in an environment with an ambient air temperature between 5°C to

45°C with the transformer supplied.
Note: Charging the unit with the 12V DC charger via a vehicle socket will drain the vehicle’s

battery unless the engine is running.

9.2 WORKLIGHT OPERATION

The worklight is operated via the ON/OFF switch

(3)

Fully press once for power on.

Half press twice for flood light.

Half press third time for spot light.

Press firmly to switch off the worklight.

Warning! Do not shine directly into any person’s or animal’s eyes.

10. MAINTENANCE

10.1 MAINTENANCE

Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean this worklight. Do not submerge into liquid.

Lithium-ion product.
Refer to your local authority for

advice on disposal and recycling.

For indoor use only.
Do not expose to rain.

WEEE

Do not dispose of Waste Electrical &

Electronic Equipment in with domestic

rubbish.

Warning! Read the instruction

manual.

Do not incinerate or throw onto

fire.

Warning! Do not aim beam at

bystanders or look directly into

light source.

12.1 DISPOSAL

At the end of the machine’s working life, or when it can no longer be repaired, ensure that it

is disposed of according to national regulations.
Contact your local authority for details of collection schemes in your area.
In all circumstances:
–  Do not dispose of power tools with domestic waste.
–  Do not incinerate.
–  Do not abandon in the environment.
–  Do not dispose of WEEE* as unsorted municipal waste.

12.2 HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR BATTERIES

Warning! Do not put in fire or mutilate – cells may burst of release toxic materials.
–  Do not short circuit cells, may cause burns.
–  The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
–  The battery is to be disposed of safely.
–  Do not mutilate batteries, corrosive electrolyte will be released.
–  Do not incinerate – danger of explosion and release of toxic fumes.
–  Do not dispose of batteries or cells in a charged condition.
Expired lithium-ion batteries must be recycled/disposed of in accordance with the

appropriate regulation or legislation. They should be returned to your local warranty

agent/stockist.

*  Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment.

7.  UNPACKING AND CHECKING

7.1 PACKAGING

Carefully remove the worklight from the packaging and examine it for any sign of damage that may

have happened during shipping. If any part is damaged or missing; please contact the Draper

Helpline (the telephone number appears on the Title page) and do not attempt to use the lamp.
Warning! Some of the packaging materials used may be harmful to children. Do not leave any of

these materials in the reach of children.
If any of the packaging is to be thrown away, make sure they are disposed of correctly; according

to local regulations.

7.2 WHAT´S IN THE BOX?

As well as the worklight; there are separate parts not fitted or attached to it.

8.  ASSEMBLING THE WORKLIGHT
