Continuity Test

Disconnect power supply from the electrical circuit of the device to
be measured, and discharge all high-voltage capacitors.

Make sure that the device under test is voltage-free. Interference
voltages distort measurement results!

Connect the conductor path under test as shown.
Depending upon the selected limit value, the multimeter generates a
continuous acoustic signal in the case of continuity or short-circuit,
i.e. at a value of less than the selected limit value.
