Cleaning the inside of chemical tank
3. Cleaning, Recharging, and Storage
–
After recovering the remnant solution, clean the inside of chemical tank by using clean water.
k
Before cleaning, inspection and recharging, make sure unit is turned off.
CAUTION
Cleaning the pump inside with water
CAUTION
After cleaning the inside of chemical tank, pour water into the tank again, run the pump, and clean the
pump inside and the nozzles until the sprayed mist of chemical solution is completely replaced with
clean water.
Leaving the pump inside without it being water-cleaned will cause failure of the pump and nozzles.
Cleaning the strainer
–
Clean the strainer.
Water draining
–
Do not fail to drain the tank. Otherwise the freezing of water may damage the pump in winter.
–
After draining the chemical tank, grip the grip lever to run the pump without load as far as the remaining
water in the tank is completely discharged. Never continue the no-load run of the pump for longer than 1
minute. Otherwise the pump may be damaged.
CAUTION
Method for using the measuring cup
The measuring cup is on the backside of the
chemical tank lid. (The measuring cup is
detachable from the chemical tanklid.)
To keep the solution from contamination, be
sure to dissolve the chemical in another
container and filter the solution with the strainer
before pouring it into the chemical tank.
How to remove the strainer
Set the ribs on the both side of the inner strainer
horizontal or vertical to the chemical tank to
remove the strainer.
With the ribs on the both sides of the inner strainer
horizontal or vertical to the chemical tank, turn the
ribs by 45 degrees to semifix the strainer to the
chemical tank. Doing so prevents the strainer from
rising when using foaming chemicals.
