Salamanderlive Connection
An instance where Dragonfly™ makes a “direct” connection to the “Incident” database located
on the salamanderlive.com web application.
The easiest and most flexible way to connect your copy of Dragonfly™ to incident related
Salamander information is through a
Salamanderlive.com
.
This connection can only be completed if an internet connection is available through the
Salamander™ software. Additionally, in order to use this direct connection the user must have a
Live Pass™ account and a Resource Manager license. Contact your Salamander re-seller or
Salamander Technologies direct representative for further information.

To configure your copy of Dragonfly for
interTRAX connections perform the
following.
1.
Contact your Dragonfly representative.
a.
Representative will give you a
password that will unlock the
service.
2.
Open or create a New Incident
3.
Select “
Salamander
” tab.
4.
Select the “
salamanderlive.com
” icon.
a.
Enter your RMW “
User ID and
Password
”
b.
Select “
Submit
”
5.
Select the “
Track
” icon
6.
Select “
Generate list
”
a.
A list of incidents for the past
30 days will be populated.
b.
Double click on the incident
that you want.
c.
Select “assignments and
personnel”
d.
Drag and drop onto Dragonfly
dashboard.
7.
Select “
Process interTRAX Import
”
a.
Set object types for each of the
assignments that you are
importing.
