Verwendungszweck
Oxyboks KT – Traininingsgerät für den Sauerstoffselbstretter
Oxyboks K.
Zum Üben der Aktivitäten:
— Öffnen des Sauerstoffselbstretters, herausnehmen und starten.
— Anlegen des Sauerstoffselbstretters.
— Flüchten mit angelegtem Sauerstoffselbstretter.
Während die wesentlichen mechanischen Eigenschaften – ein-
schließlich der Atemwiderstände – realisiert sind, werden die chemi-
schen Abläufe nicht simuliert:
— Keine O
2
-Produktion und somit keine Füllung des Atembeutels.
— Keine CO
2
-Bindung und somit keine Anwärmung der Einatemluft.
— Kein Farbumschlag des Indikators.
Unterscheidungsmerkmale des Oxyboks KT zum Sauerstoffselbst-
retter Oxyboks K:
— Blaues Gehäuse
— Blaue Plombe
— Weißer Atembeutel.
Hinweis
Einsatz nur in atembarer Atmosphäre, sonst Vergiftungs- oder
Erstickungsgefahr!
Intended Use
The Oxyboks KT – the training unit for the Oxyboks K oxygen self-res-
cuer is designed to enable the following activities to be practiced:
— Opening up, removing and starting up the oxygen self-rescuers.
— Donning the oxygen self-rescuers.
— Escaping with the oxygen self-rescuer in position.
The essential mechanical features – including the breathing resi-
stances – are realised, however the chemical processes are not simu-
lated:
— No production of O
2
and thus no filling of the breathing bag.
— No CO
2
bonding and thus no warming up of the air inhaled.
— No change in colour of indicator.
The Oxyboks KT can be distinguished from the Oxyboks K oxygen
self-rescuer by way of the following:
— A blue container
— a blue seal
— a white breathing bag.
Note
The Oxyboks KT is only to be used in a respirable atmosphere,
as otherwise there is risk of poisoning or suffocation!
